I am BEYOND GRATE-FULL to be able to jump start the new year by going to Kenya with Tirzah Int’l (tirzah.org). We in Global Women in Leadership Network are beginning to partner with Tirzah Int’l working with young emerging women leaders around the globe. My friend and colleague, Dr. Anita Chamber, has authored an amazing curriculum for these young women. I am thrilled to be a part of seeing how this curriculum is being implemented in the lives of young women. Hopefully you can take a peek at the enclosed attachments.

When I return from Kenya I have been asked to speak to a group of ‘influencers’ who want to give a SHOUT OUT to The Sons of Congo in Congo DRC. Many of you know for years I have come alongside rape warfare survivors in the Congo. I have often wondered ‘Why don’t some men begin to change the cultural climate in Congo and declare how unacceptable it is to violate women!” That is exactly what the Sons of Congo through Africa New Day (africanewday.org) have done! They started in 2011 with one Congolese man working through a transformational curriculum. They have since had 40,000 Congolese men go through their program. These men are changing the landscape of Congo choosing to no longer be perpetrators of women but becoming protectors of women! A HUGE cultural paradigm shift!
I am including two short video clips that I trust will ‘tell the story’ of the renewing surge of Christ’s sustaining power to change a life . . . to change a culture . . . to change a country.
